CARSON, Calif. (Aug 14th) – The Red-and-White posted a scoreless draw against the Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday night at the Home Depot Center.

Seattle’s Kasey Keller had three saves and Zach Thornton made four stops in the shutout for the Red-and-White.

Chivas USA had several chances throughout the game but could not beat Kasey Keller in the Seattle net, while Sounders midfielder Sanna Nyassi hit the post with a header in the 61st minute.

Forward Alan Gordon made his debut for Chivas USA after arriving at the club in a trade with the LA Galaxy, starting at forward and playing 79 minutes before being subbed out.

Chivas USA’s Mariano Trujillo and Seattle’s Leo Gonzalez each picked up a red card in the 90th minute after a brief altercation.
