Caribbean Heritage Salute in Hollywood

In Celebration of Caribbean-American Heritage Month, the Caribbean Heritage Organization (CHO) presented their annual salute to Hollywood and the Arts. Presented at the historic Women’s Club of Hollywood, the event presented several awards to entertainment industry professionals working in various capacities.

In Celebration of Caribbean-American Heritage Month, the Caribbean Heritage Organization (CHO) presented their annual salute to Hollywood and the Arts.  Presented at the historic Women’s Club of Hollywood, the event presented several awards to entertainment industry professionals working in various capacities.
Actress Tatyana M. Ali, best known for her work on the hit television series, “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” received the Living Legacy Award.  Currently, she stars in the TV One series, “Love That Girl!”
Receiving the Visionary Award was producer Roger M. Bobb.  British-born of Guyanese parentage, Bobb is best known for his association with Tyler Perry, whose first eleven feature films all debuted in the Top 5 on the box office charts. Bobb’s producing credits include “Dairy of a Mad Black Woman,” “Madea Goes to Jail” and “For Colored Girls.”

Also receiving awards were  animator Ian Gooding and executive Nichol Whiteman.
