A disappointing loss at home for Chivas USA
CARSON, Calif. – (Saturday, April 21, 2012) – 9-Men Philadelphia Union dealt a blow to Chivas USA hope of ending losing streak at home thus far this season, Saturday night at the Home Depot Center.
Midfielder Freddy Adu gave the Union a crucial three (3) points in the 40th minute and the victory. This is the first goal of the 2012 regular season for Adu.
With red cards shown to two Union players, Keon Daniel (75 minute) and Gabriel Frafan (85 minute), there were nine (9) men left to finish the match. Union Head Coach Peter Novak was also sent off with a red card.
Chivas was not able to overcome the deficit. Seven games into the regular season and they remain winless at home.

Undefeated on the road, Chivas head to Colorado for their next match against The Rapids, which kicks off at 6 p.m. PST on Saturday, 4/28.
Philadelphia will host San Jose on the same night.
