Jamaican PM Among Time Magazine’s ‘Influential’ List

Prime Minister of Jamaica Portia Simpson Miller was recently selected for Time Magazine’s list of “The 100 Most Influential People in the World.”

She’s featured in the April 30th issue of magazine along with the other individuals recognized.

“She will have a profound impact as she strives to be a transformative figure in Jamaica,” writes Congresswoman Yvette D. Clark (D-NY) in her article on Simpson Miller for the magazine.

Other individuals among the list include entertainer Rihanna, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), and immigrant rights advocate Dulce Matuz.
