BélO to perform at theater Raymond Kabbaz

Hailed as Haiti’s ambassador of music for his success at bringing the island’s music to the world, BélO will perform at Raymond Kabbaz on September 28.

One of Haiti’s most popular artists, BélO is a socially conscious singer-songwriter with a sophisticated sound and a winner of numerous awards, including the prestigious “Prix Radio France International Discoveries” honor.

His sound is a sublime mixture of Jazz, Rock, Reggae and the Afro-Haitian traditional rhythms known as Ragganga.

With the release of two albums “Lakou Trankil”  and “Reference” both sung in his rich and colorful native language, Haitian Creole, BélO  has established himself as a Haitian and international artist signpost and sings about life in Haiti and the struggles his countrymen face.
