Colorado Rapids were shutout 1-0 by LA Galaxy

Mike Magee scored the only goal in the match to give the Galaxy the win.

CARSON, California – (Saturday, March 23, 2013) – The Los Angeles Galaxy held off the Colorado Rapids delighting the home crowd with a 1-0 win, Saturday night at the Home Depot Center.

The visiting Rapids was one man short when a straight red card was shown to Drew Moor for taking down Galaxy midfielder Marcelo Sarvas in the box.

In the 49 minute, A Galaxy Mike Magee converted the penalty with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner of the box.  There was little that Colorado ‘keeper’ Clinton Irwin could do to prevent the goal.

Mike Magee is on the leader board with four goals thus far early in the regular season.
