Galaxy Head Coach Bruce Arena on starting Adam Cristman, “We wanted to go with him tonight to play against two very good center backs that Dallas has. I think he did a good job in battling and holding the ball up for us, in particular in the second half.”

The game progressed through the second half with the visiting FC Dallas with few opportunities at goal thanks to the Galaxy backline and goalkeeper Josh Saunders.

Galaxy got on goal again in the 61st minute, as Juninho sent a long ball aided by the goal post that eventually found the back of FC Dallas’ net.  The play started with a corner kick by David Beckham, the ball cleared the box off Gregg Berhalter, but Juninho was in the right spot for the goal.

Another corner kick by David Beckham saw the final LA goal.  The goal came from Mike Magee in the 81st minute.  Magee extended his body in traffic and headed the ball pass GK Hartman.
