Oscar winner John Legend to perform at the 89th ceremony

Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the 89th Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 26, at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.

Oscar winner John Legend will perform at the 89th Oscars ceremony, show producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd announced today. Also slated to perform are Oscar nominees Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sting, Justin Timberlake.

Legend will perform both “Audition (The Fools Who Dream)” and “City of Stars,” from “La La Land,” music by Justin Hurwitz; lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. A singer-songwriter, musician and actor, Legend won an Oscar for the original song “Glory” from “Selma,” an honor he shared with artist Common. His many accolades also include 10 Grammy Awards and 28 nominations.
