Reggae Artist Luciano bless the Dub Club on a Wednesday Night

Not only was the band excellent the back-up singers Yvonne and Sharon were superb. They have been back up vocals for Luciano for 12 years and Sharon said her experience have been very rewarding.

Reggae Artiste Luciano did a one night show at the Dub Club after a long absence from the Los Angeles reggae circuit.

The Artiste was well received by the full capacity turn out at the weekly Wednesday night reggae spot.

He was entertaining and inspirational as the audience glued to his hour plus performance as if they were in a trance shouting for more songs.

“He gave one of his best performance seen in awhile,” echoed radio personality Native Wayne to the his Echo Park resident buddy Roger Steffens, Reggae historian and collector.

Luciano attempted to leave the stage a few times after announcing several good-byes but after seeing his starving fans stand waiting for more, he couldn’t pull himself from the stage without delivering more songs>  By the time he reached the end of his act, he was into a rivival-style reggae even doing a Louis Armstrong “Oh when the saint go marching” in a reggae version.

After leaving the stage, CaribPress caught up with the artiste to have a brief chat.

“It was great, a very nice turn out and the people were very receptive,” said Luciano, after asked about his stage performance. Then asked his signature stage move which was not done, he had this to say.

“Man, this stage is little, I try not to force the issue,” chuckled Luciano. “Honestly, it is still a part of my movement I did one last night as matter of fact.  I really contemplate it but I wanted the people to listen to some serious and positive vibration,” continued Luciano.”

As a parting words he said this for his fans.

“I want to say thanks so much for turning out and great love over the years the Los Angeles fans.  You have proven to be very steadfast, and even thought they haven’t seen me for a couple years they still hold prime and they come out to listen to Lucci. And it was great that they stood their ground and let me deliver and I really love the vibration. It’s a blessing Los Angeles, my fans are nice people.”

Not only was the band excellent, the back-up singers Yvonne and Sharon were superb. They have been back up vocals for Luciano for 12 years and Sharon said her experience have been very rewarding.

During his flawless performance you could tell from the body language that he was confident with his musicians standing behind him as each music was in sync with his act.

Presently the artiste is on a West Coast tour which had taken route from San Francisco the night before to Los Angeles via Echo Park then head to Las Vegas.

The tour goes until the end of July. After a few more shows in New York, he will go to Europe to do a show in Poland according to the artiste.
