Thousands of reggae music fans are set to arrive in Gaberville CA this weekend to experience one of the most iconic music festivals in the world.

Reggae on the River, known simply as “Reggae” kicks off Thursday, July 31st and ends Sunday, August 3rd. And this year, there’s huge reason to celebrate as the festival marks its 30th anniversary.

“This special 30th edition of Reggae On The River will offer one for the history books- a weekend of camping, community, irie vibes, and a mind-bending mix of reggae and world music on the banks of the majestic Eel,” said festival organizer.

This year massive “Pearl” anniversary line-up is sure to exalt the audience with performances from foundational artists such as Jimmy Cliff, Alpha Blondy, Third World, Israel Vibration, Michael Rose, Sly & Robbie, and Mutabaruka. Some of the hottest and freshest names in reggae- Gentleman, Gyptian, Iration, Etana, Bitty McClean, Jah9, Megah Banton, Iba Mahr, Marlon Asher and Meta & The Cornerstones.

General Manager–Producer Justin Crelin had this to say after ask what he hopes Reggae attendees will take with them after the experience?
