Beginning this week, from Nov. 24 through Dec 15, the California-Hawaii NAACP Conference is planning to lead a push across the state called “Black Recruitment Week” organized to recruit African Americans in California for Census 2020 jobs.

If it passes, AB5 will impact more than 2 million contract workers in California.
