With book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and direction by Thomas Kail, “Hamilton” is inspired by the book “Alexander Hamilton” by Ron Chernow, Disney+ will premiere the film on July 3.

Miranda, who was born to parents of Puerto Rican origin received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday, just outside the theater where he performed after landing his first job in Los Angeles.
