BET Networks said Wednesday that the entertainers will appear on Sunday’s ceremony, which will be broadcast live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The 2011 BET Awards will honor the 67-year-old singer with a prestigious BET Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her work in the music industry.
