TV One Founder and President Cathy Hughes will receive the NAACP Chairman’s Award during the 43rd NAACP Image Awards, broadcast live on Friday, February 17th (8:00-10:00 PM EST) on NBC.
In the TV category, Ali earned an Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for “Love That Girl!” and an Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series for “The Young and the Restless”.
Nominations will be announced on Thursday, January 19, and will include contributions in television, film, music and literature.
