Toronto, undefeated at home this season with a record of 6-0-4, broke Chivas USA’s four-game unbeaten streak in MLS. Chivas USA had only lost once in the last nine matches in all competitions (MLS, SuperLiga and US Open Cup).
The defense played solid throughout the match. The back four played well together but gave up a late goal to Steven Lenhart to make it 3-1.
