Ellen DeGeneres was the night’s biggest honoree as Hollywood’s biggest industries came together in at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday night to celebrate the best in music, film, television and social media at the 2017 People’s Choice Awards.

The 58 year-old actress and talk show host picked up three accolades for Favorite Daytime TV Host, Favorite Comedic Collaboration and Favorite Animated Movie Voice. Justin Timberlake was on hand to present the awards to Ellen, before being joined on stage by 20 well dressed men holding each of Ellen’s People’s Choice Awards.Comedienne Ellen DeGeneres, winner of a record-setting 20 career People's Choice Awards (Photo- WireImage)

Other  winners included Tyler Perry  who received the Favorite Humanitarian award:

“What I have found and what has been so important to me right now is that as I look at the state of the world and the state of our country and everything that is going on, it is so important that we know that no matter how dark it gets, we all have to be light for each other,” he said. “You turn on your phone, you turn on your television, you are met with darkness, negativity, death, destruction, terrorism, murder, hate, racism. You don’t even need to search for it because it’s searching for you. It can find you. It’s right there beside you. It’s in your pocket. And you have to be careful of that when you have things that close to your pocket that they don’t seep into your heart,” Perry addressed the crowd as he picked up the accolade.
