ARCADIA, Calif. – OCTOBER 23, 2010 – There was no horsing around at Santa Anita Race track Saturday morning.  The curious, enthusiastic Volvo loyalists, lovers and prospective buyers rolled into Santa Anita Race Track to drive “Naughty”.

Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (VCNA) introduced the All-New S60, the sportiest and elegant Volvo ever, this smooth sedan with its’ six-cylinder engine (T6) is the most potent Volvo has offered in the S60 with a fuel efficient 300 horsepower and 325 feet per pound of torque.

Consumers were eager to experience the 2011 Volvo S60 on the track and compare to competitors like Audi and BMW.  Experts were on hand to answer questions about this master work of automotive design, and groundbreaking technology to help avoid collisions.

Fuel economy is average compared with other six-cylinder models in this class, with projected EPA mileage ratings of 18 city and 26 highway mpg.

The 2011 Volvo S60 is on sale now with starting retail price in the high $30,000 and above.  Volvo S60 is the first car to make this innovative technology available, a Pedestrian Protection System with Full Auto Brake.  Using radar and camera technology, the pedestrian protection system detects real, live humans in front of your car and automatically applies the brakes to help avoid collision, if the driver fails to respond in time.
